Applesauce.

Now accepting all forms of applesauce and like-type jars!
Grandma Shirley has collected 20 jars so far-- now that is a lot of applesauce, and even more pickles.

For the centerpieces, the tables are going to be filled with lights. I'm hoping 250ish. I found out that Slippery's is repainting their reception hall burgundy.  Not at all what I would have chose if I were decorator.  With such a dark room, I'm really going to need to add light.  Let's start with the tables.  Being a visual person, I put together my craft in pictures.  Take a look:

I searched the internet for similar ideas and found these:
I think I want to do baby food jars too.  I'm not a fan of the tea lights with the silver shells.  I like clear instead.

I'm not a huge fan of the sand in the bottoms, or the mason-type jars.  I'm going for jars that are completely smooth with no engraving.

This one is my favorite. I saw this a long, long time ago (like before I was engaged) and loved the warm atmosphere it created, and with a nice price tag at that.

Let me know if you are willing to donate jars to me! I have 5 months to collect.

Best!
