The honeymoon.

Cancun here we come!  Now, this part of the planning was so much fun!  Paul and I searched weeks for ideas about where to go.  For a while we were thinking Northern California; flying into LA, visiting my family and make the trip up to SanFran.  We made a separate budget for the honeymoon, and flying out to Cali was hitting our max.  So, we started looking at other options like cruises and Mexico.  Flights to Cancun are about the same for flights to San Francisco believe it or not!

We searched on Cheaptickets for packages including flights and hotels.  Most resorts in our budget were not that nice.  My wants included: nice rooms, all-inclusive, jacuzzi, right on the ocean.  After falling short time and time again, we used the new chat feature on Cheaptickets.  We talked to a representative (like AIM) over the course of an hour and he did the searches for us.  We told Zeke all our wants and our budget, and he put together the packages for us.

The first one was nice and under budget, but lacking in style.  I was looking for something less, um, traditional.  The second one he nailed!  Way nicer than I expected.  An all-inlcusive, adult only, 5 star vacation with Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun Resort!

Check out these pictures.  Every room is a suite (ours below) with jacuzzi and balcony.  8 restaurants (only one is a buffet- the rest order menus) and 8 bars.
Our suite- so beautiful.
Jacuzzi.
One of the restaurants- this is the Asian themed one.

We are very much looking forward to our honeymoon!  For more information about the resort check out their website: Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun Resort.

Best!
