Hair plus veil.

I'm so lucky to have one of my best friends as a hairstylist.  Pippa, one of my bridesmaids, is going to be doing my hair (and my M of H Paige) for the wedding.

I didn't even think of how much a veil changes everything!  Here are some hairstyles I was thinking of doing prior to purchasing a veil:

They are similar to the collage pictures I made above.  Because I'm having a summer wedding, I don't want the hair to be to tight and stiff.  I'm really attracted to the loose curls and waves of summer.  In my collage, the one closest to my favorite is the brown haired woman on the left.  It's very summery!

Besides from the do, color is also a concern of mine.  I haven't been true blonde since sophomore year-- almost three years ago.  I think I might start doing highlights and bleach my hair out over the summer to give it the natural, summer, California, beach goddess look that I really love.  Pippa filled me in on a secret.  There is such a thing a clear hair dye (in very loose, non-technical terminology) that makes hair shine when it is dried out looking.  Having dull, bleached out summer hair is not what I'm interested in.  So with Pippa's hair magic I can have lovely locks instead.  And, if I decide I don't like it blonde, I might do a rich brown last minute!

P.S. The pictures of the collage are from www.theprettyblog.com, which is an amazing blog with great finds for anything wedding and crafts!

For Bridesmaids I'm thinking of something similar to below (still throwing around ideas):
